Todd Davies

B Bus, Grad Dip Ent, FCA, CIA, FIIA(Aust) MAICD

Todd is an internationally respected commentator and advisor on risk, governance and assurance matters and has led developments in these areas globally. He is particularly well known for his work on strategic risk and leading practices in internal audit.

His executive career has included roles as head of policy and technical of the Institute of Internal Auditors, head of audit & risk for one of the region’s leading media companies, global head of product development in risk management and internal audit for one of the big 4 accounting firms as well as a distinguished career in management consulting.

In each of these roles he was responsible for driving significant change which had an impact not only on the organisations he was working with but in many cases, industry-wide and with an ripple effect internationally. He is accredited with developing leading practices and rolling out risk-based auditing globally for one of the Big 4, developing leading guidance for the Institute of Internal Auditors in Australia and globally, contributing to leading regulation on risk through the ASX Corporate Governance Council as well as being prolific with his work on what’s possible within internal audit and showcasing this with his clients and in his executive career.

His focus through TDA is on providing advisory services to a select number of blue chip clients with a focus on emerging practices and developing future leaders in his fields of expertise. In addition he is currently an independent director and/or audit & risk committee member with a range of organisations including the Australian Conservation Foundation, GreenCollar Group, the State Emergency Service, The Cancer Institute of NSW, South East Sydney & Illawarra Health Service, Wollongong City Council and an agricultural land regenerator.

Todd is a Chartered Accountant and Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, a Fellow of the Institute of Internal Auditors in Australia and a Member, Institute of Company Directors
