I’ve spent the past 20 years working with a range of businesses of all shapes, sizes and industries to get a deep understanding of what makes them successful, and why they sometimes come unstuck.

Over the years I have gained great satisfaction from seeing people succeed and knowing that I helped them chart the right course whether by taking calculated risks, or avoiding preventable mishaps.

In terms of my own course, I’ve followed whatever I believed to be my highest and best use at the time and this has taken me on a series of journeys:

• as an accountant and advisor to small business
• as a management consultant working in developing public policy, to national marketing and branding campaigns, property feasibility, urban renewal strategy, project management, strategic asset management, CTC and a range of other things
• 10 years in operational risk, assurance, board advisory and related disciplines
• running a think-tank in the New York area and driving a global innovation strategy
• as the head of audit & risk in a top 50 media company
• several Directorships in small start ups and NGOs
• many side projects, business ventures and interests and primarily in software, property, new media and music.

After many years in corporate and helping many organisations make hundreds of millions of dollars in incremental profit, I’ve decided that it’s time to share my knowledge with prospective clients on a freelance basis.
